October 2017 Newsletter
A Note from Our Principal,
Dear Parents,
I am so excited about all of the new things happening at our school! I know that there have been some big changes and we are all still adjusting and I just want to say thank you to everyone for all of your support and encouragement! I am looking forward to an amazing year with all of you! October is going to be a month of fun events as we start entering into the holiday season! Make sure you check the October calendar for the dates of all the events we have planned.
I hope you have had a chance to meet some of the new teachers that have joined our Xplor family. I know that the teachers love your children and are thrilled to be a part of our team. Just in case you missed the email…
Ms. Morgan is in our Infant 1 Classroom

Ms. Alexis is in our Toddler Classroom
Ms. Breonna is in our Beginner Classroom
Ms. Tiffaney is in our Intermediate Classroom
Mr. Jeff is in our School Age Classroom
We also have several new families that have joined our growing family. I know the children love making new friends and have loved getting to know the children!
These next few months are going to be a lot of fun and I can’t wait to make so many awesome memories with you all!

Fall Paperwork
We nee all families to fill out all new paperwork. If you have not filled out the new Enrollment paperwork please make sure to stop by the front desk and pick up your new packet (one per child).

Important Dates
Yankee Candle Fundraiser – It officially kicks off on Monday October 9th and runs through Monday October 23rd (all orders and money are due on the 23rd, we will not be able to accept any late orders). We have some great prizes that you can be entered to win. Don’t forget candles make great Holiday gifts!!
Parents Night Out – October 13th from 6:30 – 10:30 PM This PNO is for our older children – School Age, Ms. Jaia’s class. This is a fun Halloween Costume party for the older kids. They have some fun stuff planned for the evening, games, art, movies and more. The sign up sheet is at the front desk.
Trunk or Treat – Friday October 27th from 5:30 – 7:30 PM We are looking for parents who are willing to decorate their trunks and pass out candy. There is a sign up sheet at the front desk. If you cannot decorate your trunk we still want you to come dressed in your costume and trick or treat with us. We will set up all decorated trunks on the school age side of the building in the side parking lot. Set up will begin at 5:00 PM. This is always a fun event for the children to get more than one use out of their Halloween costumes.
Fall Celebrations – October 31st We will be having our fall classroom parties on Halloween. There will be sign up sheets in the classrooms if you would like to bring in goodies for the class. Please also check the sign up sheet for party times. Please remember that all food must be store bought and contain no nuts or nut products.
