Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,
Fall is the time for families and hay rides. You will notice that our list of important events grows longer at this time of year because we love it! Thank you to all who participated in the Charleston Wrap fundraiser, it was very successful. Thank you for being a part of our school family.
Sincerely,
Tiffany Richards
Read Together, Talk Together
I am excited to share a new literacy program that is kicking off for our Beginner students this month. Read Together, Talk Together is literacy program designed to engage and enrich literature for early learners. With the program and dialogic reading methods your child now becomes an active storyteller, emerging themselves in the illustrations and vocabulary rich experiences. The literature focus of the week has been carefully selected to give our students a variety of settings and rich reading experiences.
Spark is here!
We are also excited to announce that the Spark program has arrived in our school. Sports, Play, and Active Recreation or SPARK is a fun physical fitness program designed for children 3 and older. The percentage of obese children has doubled in the last 30 years, making physical fitness an essential component of overall wellness. I am sure that your students will tell you all about this fantastic addition to our curriculum.
