A Note from Our Principal:
Dear Parents,
The cooler weather has arrived, but we will never know how long it truly will stick around! I for one am always thankful for the cooler weather since Fall is my favorite season! Throughout the month of November, we will be sharing the theme of Thankfulness through several events!
Our first event is our Thankful Harvest Open House this Saturday, November 4th from 10:00am-1:00pm. We are inviting our current families, as well as the families in the community to visit our school for fun games and food. We will also have the Allen Fire Department here with their truck and will be hosting our annual food drive to benefit the Allen Community Outreach Food Pantry! Bring in those canned food items and earn a raffle ticket for every 5 items and you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE Parent’s Night Out! Bring a family or friend that may be looking for a school and you can take advantage of the Parent Referral Program and earn a FREE week of tuition!
During the week of November 6-10, we will be “Thanking a Veteran”. We will have a treat and toy soldier for students to pick up and pass along to a veteran to show their thanks for serving our country!
And of course, we are most thankful for our families! We will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on Friday, November 17th @ 11:30am and we invite all our families to join their child for lunch!
Thank you for being a part of our family here is at Xplor in Allen and allowing us to be part of your child’s life!
Sincerely,
Alice Reed
