A Note From Our Principal
Thank you all for participating in our Thanksgiving activities last month. We enjoy opportunities to get to know you better and are grateful for the time we get to spend together! December will be another fun and busy month for our teachers and students as we have continue with our Holiday Giving activities. We will be participating in the Christmas Stroll along with having our annual Candy Land Event, which is free to all along with a donation of a canned good item. We hope you can join us for these events and help us to kick-off our Winter Break Camp for School Age. Please also join us for our class holiday parties and parent/staff cocoa and coffee break. We will be participating in Blue Santa again this year to help the Georgetown Police Dept. make a wonderful holiday for families in our area. Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Sincerely,
Amanda
Holiday Giving
This month we will be helping families in our community by collecting items for Blue Santa. This is a toy drive put on by the Georgetown Police Dept. and is distributed before Christmas to the families in need.(New toys only please) We will also be collecting nonperishable items for The Caring Place during our Candy Land event, we hope to see our bins full and help those families in need this Holiday season.
Classroom Holiday Celebrations
Cutting, pasting and coloring are important for fine motor skill development and our favorite way to work on these skills in the month of December is to make holiday decorations with our students. Our classroom celebrations will be held on December 22st at 3:00pm. We will be doing a book exchange for all children, reading stories and sharing a holiday snack with our families. We hope you can join us, but if you cannot we will be sure to share plenty of photos on Links 2 Home!
