A Note from Our Principal,
We have had a great first month of 2018 and are looking forward to spending the rest of this winter season with you and your children. Our teachers and staff welcomed new families and students into their classrooms and are hard at work creating meaningful learning experiences for the month of February. Thank you to those of you that participated in our annual parent survey, we appreciate your feedback and support! When the survey results are in, we will be examining them carefully for areas of improvement and will share our plan with you when it’s ready.
We want to take a moment to recognize Infant Lead Teacher, Mrs. Debbie on her seven years of dedication to our Xplor children. Her patience, friendliness and warmth make it so easy for a new mommy or daddy to feel comfortable leaving their child. We are so grateful to have Mrs. Debbie and can’t wait for seven more years with her.
We also want to recognize Private Kinder Lead Teacher, Mrs. Mandy on her five years of commitment. Her dedication to preparing these children for Kindergarten with her compassion, dedication and creative teaching results in children being academically and socially ready for Kindergarten. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Valentine’s Day Celebrations
We will be holding classroom Celebrations of Love on February 14th at 2:00 p.m. Your child’s classroom teacher will communicate with you all through Links 2 Home on any items that are needed or special activities the class is planning.
Preschool Closed for Staff Professional Development Day
On Monday, February 19th, Infants through Pre-K 2 classrooms will be closed for Staff Professional Development Day. Every year, we close our Preschool program on President’s Day to provide our staff with a full day of professional development activities and workshops. Please make alternate arrangements for your preschool children for this day. Although, the Preschool side of Xplor will be closed, the School Age program will be open all day, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, for the children enrolled in Private Kindergarten and After-School programs.
Early Bird Registration for the 2018-2019 School Year
Are you planning on re-enrolling for the next school year? We hope so! Early-Bird registration begins on March 5th through March 16th. More information will be provided as the dates get closer! Our management team is available to address any questions or concerns you have.
Cold Weather Reminders
Our students love to play on the playground and we go outside every day (weather permitting). Please make sure your child has a seasonally appropriate change of clothes in their cubby in case they have an accident. Thank you!
