Note from the Principal
We had so much fun in April with tons of special activities! We learned about our earth and celebrated earth day! We gardened, picnicked, and released ladybugs and worms! We focused on the children during Week of the Young Child and ended our month with our Boxcar Parade! We appreciate all of the participation this month and look forward to another busy and event-filled month in May! This May, we want to focus on our moms, our teachers, and a safe transition into summer! We look forward to enjoying the next month with you!

Summer Health and Safety
Water Bottles – Please ensure that your child brings a cup/bottle for water each day. As the days get warmer, we want to ensure that all children stay hydrated. Please also make sure that you label it with your child’s name and take it home daily for cleaning.
Sunscreen – If you would like your child to wear sunscreen, please bring a bottle of spray sunscreen labeled with your child’s first and last name, and give it to your child’s teacher to store in a safe place in the classroom. We will be applying sunscreen daily to those that have provided sunscreen and permission.
Shoes – As we approach summer we want to remind every body that tennis shoes and sneakers are still the safest shoes for your child to wear to school. If your child wears sandals, please ensure that they are closed toed. We have seen many injuries over the years from students tripping while wearing crocs and/or flip flops.
Summer Camp Registration for School Age Now Due!
Will your child be attending this summer? Please be sure to complete your summer registration paperwork for your school-ager and make sure that you have paid your child’s summer registration fee of $75. This is required for all of our elementary aged children.
