A Note from Our Principal,
We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms spent the week leading up to Earth Day learning all about plants and living organisms. For Earth Day each classroom grew 2 different types of vegetables. They then transferred the vegetables into our new vegetable garden, which will be tended and cared for by our school age students. This month we are busy supporting our school age students as they prepare to wrap up the academic school year. As part of our school age curriculum, our students are working together to get their classroom ready for summer camp. Planning for activities as a team helps school age children develop independence and leadership skills. Feel free to stop by our school age room and say hello!
Sincerely,
Lauren Young
