A Note From Our Principal
We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms spent the week leading up to Earth Day learning about insects and plants. For Earth Day students from Toddler’s to Pre-K 2 released over 25,000 ladybugs into our school landscape and trees.
This month we are busy getting ready for our Pre-K Graduation and all of our summer camp activities!!! While many programs may end their academic year at the end May, we are excited to have a program and curriculum that goes year round and doesn’t end when the seasons change. Our Infants – Pre-K curriculum continues to building on the foundation that has been made over the last few months and continues to prepare them for their new classroom in August. Our graduated Pre-K and Pre-K2 will participate in our Kindergarten Kick Off program as they continue to grasp the skills needed to be successful in Kindergarten. And lastly, our School Age program will be incorporating a ton of STEAM activities as they build on the knowledge they learned this year! We know that our students aren’t going to forget everything they learned this year and will be even more prepared as they head back to school in August! If you would like more information about our Summer Camp, Kindergarten Kick Off or Preschool activities, please see the front desk.
Don’t forget to love on your child’s teacher this week during Teacher Appreciation Week May 7-11! We have various activities planned to shower our amazing teachers with love and appreciation! There is a binder at the front desk with all of the teacher’s favorite things!
Monday: Flower and/or thoughtful note
Tuesday: Favorite Candy
Wednesday: Teacher Potluck – please see the front desk to sign up
Thursday: Favorite Drink or Snack
Friday: Favorite Pampering Item
I hope you have had a great weekend!
