Dear Parents,
This month we start our 2018-2019 school year. We are excited about the upcoming year and all that your children will learn. With a new school year comes change. Some of your students will be transitioning to a new classroom the week of August 13th. In the weeks leading up to their transition be sure to discuss with your child expectations and set the routine now. Children thrive on routine. They are continuously searching for the pattern that they know and to follow it. If the routine is new, there can be some crying and upset during the transition to the new routine. This is very typical and something that requires a great deal of patience. Do not hesitate to reach out to our team for suggestions.
Sincerely,
