A Note from the Principal
Our school has been open for over a month now and everything is going great. It has been so exciting getting to know all our families and seeing our students experience their new environment. It takes approximately 6 weeks to build connections in the classrooms. Our teachers have a strong focus on building these connections with your child and making them feel safe. If a child feels safe and loved then the sky is the limit on their potential. With building connections during any relationship there will be conflict that arrive. We view conflict as a time to teach. We work closely with your child to give them the words to navigate through conflict and resolve a problem or come to an agreement. These are important life skills to make your child a successful adult later in life.
We will host our first Open House on Saturday, 9/29 from 10:00am-12:30pm. This is a free family event and we encourage everyone to come! There will be face painting and a balloon artist, popcorn, snow cones, and other fun activities. Please invite your friends and neighbors, the more the merrier.
Sincerely,
Sara Pruett, Principal
Aspen Thurmond, Assistant Principal

Fall Weather
There is a chill in the air, finally! We do take the children outside daily and it is important that your child is dressed for the weather. Please ensure that your child has a jacket labeled with their name. They will also need a change of clothes in their cubby at all times. Please change out the shorts and tank tops for long sleeves and pants.
