A Note from Our Principal,
Dear Parents,
Thank you all for your participation in our Halloween events last month! We loved getting to spend extra time with you and seeing our students in their costumes is always memorable for our staff. This will be a busy month as we head into the holiday season and we are looking forward to spending it with you and your children. Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns or need additional care/schedule changes during this time of year. We are grateful for you all. Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Crystal Hipsher
Principal

Weather Reminders
Despite the unpredictability of fall weather we try to ensure that our students spend time outdoors each day. Please make sure your child has a jacket available and a weather appropriate change of clothes in their cubby at all times. We have many fun outdoor activities scheduled for this month and don’t want any of our students to miss out!
Parent Information Reminders
After enrolling at our school all parents receive an email from Alma, our online family management system. Alma allows you to pay your tuition, manage who is able to pick up your child and keep your contact information up to date in our system. Please make sure that your information is up to date in Alma by accessing your family account here (add your school Alma link from ‘My Account’ under parent section on website). You will need to login to Alma with your username, which is typically firstname.lastname but we can confirm this for you if needed. Please reach out to us for more information.
Fall Festival and Open House—Saturday, November 10th
Our annual Fall Festival and Open House will be held on November 10th from 10-1. We will have games, crafts great food and more. Do you know anyone who is new to the area, adding to their family or who might be unhappy with their child’s current preschool? Invite them to our event! If they enroll at our school you will receive a free week of tuition for your oldest child.
Thanksgiving Holiday
We will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd for Thanksgiving but our hours the rest of the week remain the same. Children in our School-Age program are welcome to stay with us the week of the 19th as the public schools we support have various schedules for closure. We have fun fall events planned for each day and love having our older students spend extra time with us during Thanksgiving week. Please reach out to us if your child will be attending so we can staff accordingly.
Classroom Thanksgiving Celebrations—Monday, November 19th
We love celebrating Thanksgiving with our students so that we can share how much they mean to us and how much we all mean to each other. Our classes will be learning about Thanksgiving all month and will be making decorations to celebrate the season. On Monday, November 19th we are making a special turkey lunch for our students. Parents are welcome to attend but we will share lots of photos on Links 2 Home for those who cannot. Some classes are collecting small extras for the Thanksgiving lunch, please check with your child’s teacher for more information.
Movie and Pajama Day—Friday, November 23rd
Busy shopping on Black Friday? We will be open and are holding a school-wide holiday movie day complete with PJ’s, popcorn and crafts. Please let us know if your child will be at school on Friday so we can ensure there are enough crafts and snacks for all who attend.
