A Note from Our Principal,
Spring has finally arrived and we want to make sure all of our students can take full advantage of our outdoor play spaces. One of the best ways to ensure this is for each child’s cubby to be cleaned out and ready for the season. Please make sure that your child’s cubby has a full set of well-fitting weather appropriate clothes that are labeled. Additionally, now is a great time to start collecting sunscreen so that we are ready for the first hot and sunny day of the year. Please label all containers of sunscreen that you send to school with your child. Our teachers are planning outdoor games, lessons and picnics to celebrate spring. We can’t wait to share these activities with your child!
Our Annual Spring Egg Hunt will here at Xplor Saturday, April 20, 2019 starting at 11:00 a.m. (all groups at once). The age groups will be divided on the playground and the infants will be in there classrooms. The children, families and friends are invited to attend this amazing time. Mr. Bunny will be here to greet the children and take selfies if you like.
Thank you for the parent survey participation. Your thoughts, compliments and suggests were duly noticed. We will continue to make Xplor’s environment a safe and fun early learning experience for your children. We will be diligently trying to improve our program throughout the year to make you proud.
Week of the Young Child (April 8th-12th)-During this time the children will be doing varies activities.
The daily themes are:
- Music – Monday
- Tasty – Tuesday
- Working Together -Wednesday
- Artsy – Thursday
- Family – Friday
There will be more information to follow as the event week approaches.
Our Annual School –Age Professional Development Day will be May 2018. The school-age teachers will be trained for summer safety and how to enrich the summer camp with amazing field trip, vendors and on site projects that keeps the children engaged throughout the summer.
Our Annual Lady Bug Release Monday, April 22, 2019 classrooms will spend the prior week leading up to Earth Day learning about insects, plants, ecology and making art from recycled materials. For Earth Day students from Infant- Pre-K had a ladybug fashion show showing off their cool ladybug outfits and released 15,000 ladybugs into our school playground
A friendly reminder: We are open Friday, April 19, 2019 “Good Friday.”
Please make sure your property in the parking lot is safe and sound as you are dropping off and picking up your children.

Fall Registration Enrollment for the 2019-2020 School Year
Placements are filling fast. Please drop by and telling us your fall plans.
Registration fees will be as follows:
- Single Child Family $125
- Multi-Child Family $175
Parent Teacher Conference
Our Parent Teacher Conferences are continuing in the month of April. Please watch your classroom for sign- up sheet with dates and time.
Parent Referral
Do you know any parents who have recently moved to the area, are expecting a baby or are unhappy with their current preschool? We value our current parents and would love more families like yours at our school! Refer a new family to our school and your family could receive a free week of tuition.
Change of Clothes
We are having unpredictable weather soon. Please remember to check that your child’s extra cubby clothes are appropriate for cooler days.
School Age Parents
School Age parents: Please let us know by 2 pm if your child will not need Xplor transportation after school. Our buses are not allowed to leave a school without confirmation of your child’s whereabouts. If we are not informed in advance, this delay causes the children at the next school from being picked up on time.
Family Fun
Spring is a great time to get outdoors and try something new as a family. A few of our favorite things to do around town are:
- Visiting the Botanic Garden-Heritage Park Grapevine Texas.
- Family picnics at your local park
- Loading up the strollers for a family walk at the lake
- Going to the Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch
- Main Street Arts Festival has tons of hands-on activities for children and runs from April 11th-14nd in Fort Worth
Naptime Gear
Please make sure to take home all naptime gear at the end of your week. Please make your child has a complete change of clothing in the cubbies.
Hours of Operation
Please remember our hours of operation 6:30 am-6:30 pm. Please be sure to drop off and pick up your child(ren) between the above hours. Late pick is 1$ per minute per child.
Outside Food
Please No outside food due to high food allergies.
