A Note From Our Principal
We are so excited that the fall season has begun. Our students will enjoy the extra outdoor time, nature walks and seasonal curriculum activities. Last month our School-Age program kicked off another great year, and we are thrilled to have our older students with us at the beginning and end of each day. Our soccer, dance and gymnastics ancillary programs are also back up and running, and we are enjoying watching our students learn and grow in their extracurricular activities. We will begin planning for our annual holiday giving community support initiative soon, so stay tuned for more information! As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Sara Pruett
Fall Cubby Refresh
Our teachers have many fun outdoor activities planned for our students this month. Please check your child’s cubby and ensure that their extra set of clothes is weather appropriate so that your child can participate in everything planned for their class.
Your Opinion Matters!
Our parent survey is launching soon and we’d appreciate you spending a few minutes to take the survey. Your feedback gives us vital information that we need to improve our programs to serve you and your child better. You will receive an invitation by email on 10/2. Please let us know if you do not receive it!
School-Age Fall Fun Day
Keller and Northwest ISD are closed on October 14th, but we have a full day of fun and learning planned for our School-Agers! Students will create a pumpkin volcano, race in a pumpkin pop relay, and venture out on a field trip TBA. Please let us know no later than October 10th if your student would like to attend.
Painted Pumpkin Auction
Students and teachers are hard at work coming up with ideas to decorate their classroom pumpkins. The pumpkins will be on display and up for auction October 7th-October 11th. The bidding will end at 6:30pm and all proceeds will go towards our staff holiday party.
Classroom Door Décor Contest
The fall season has begun and we are excited to represent all that fall has to offer in our school. Each classroom will design and decorate their classroom’s door for fall. You can cast your vote for your favorite door and the winner will get a special fall treat.
Spooktacular Fashion Show
Our classrooms will be celebrating Halloween together with trick-or-treating, crafts and a costume fashion show on October 31st. Your child’s teacher will let you know if anything specific is needed for their class. We can’t wait to see all of our students in costume!
