Dear Parents,
We hope your children enjoyed their fall lessons, pumpkin themed activities and our First Annual Costume Cat Walk. Seeing our students enjoy their Halloween costumes and fall attire is one of the highlights of the year for us. Thank you for allowing us to be part of these special occasions! This month we are focusing on gratitude and connecting with our community. As part of this focus we are busily preparing for several Holiday Giving campaigns. Through November 8th, we are collecting non-perishable items for children and families in our community. These donations will help create Holiday Meal Kits. Community Storehouse is the only children’s charity in Northwest Tarrant County focused on keeping children in the classroom while going through struggling times and we are excited to share in their efforts.
We cordially invite you to our S.T.E.A.M. Play Day on Saturday, November 16th from 10 am to 1 pm. We will have S.T.E.A.M. based activities for all ages to enjoy. What a great opportunity to invite a friend for a play date and see our school first hand while meeting our staff and school family. The following week we will have our Annual Pie the Principal Fundraiser. Our school family can individually pay $5 per pie to pie Ms. Anita in the face. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity for some fun and laughs. Be sure to check our calendar for more fun events we have planned.
Sincerely,
Anita Johnson, Principal
