Dear Parents,
This month has brought new normals for everyone within our school community. We want to be that partner as you navigate those uncharted waters. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have about your preschoolers daily schedule and education. We want to thank each of you for doing your part during this pandemic. Some are doing their part by staying home and we have others who have their children in attendance due to being essential staff within our community. Thank you for helping us all stay safe so we can return to normal soon.
Spring is upon us and we are starting to see warmer temperatures but still some cool mornings. Be sure to still provide a light jacket for your child for our outdoor play times. We know that this is a time that spring cleaning happens and sometimes you find your child has outgrown their clothes. We always accept any donations of clothing for extra changes in cases of emergency. Don’t hesitate to share those items with us. We could use all sizes.
Our school has been preparing for NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accreditation. Our school is currently accredited but we have chosen to seek this accreditation due to it’s prestige and recognition internationally of high quality education for early learners. We recently requested a validation visit. This visit consists of a validator coming and spending a day in our school to see our policies, procedures and curriculum in action. Our teachers have been working very hard to prepare their evidence of high quality for the validator. We expect our visit to be any time between April through July. We will let you know as we learn more.
Sincerely,
Kendal Parker, Principal

Baily Davis, Office Administrator
