A Note From Our Principal
We truly hope everyone is doing well. We miss our Xplor families so very much. We are looking forward to seeing everyone back in our school over the coming weeks as business continue to open. We know these times are very unsettling and a change from our normal, but we are here to help navigate through these challenging times as team.
We have several virtual events for our families who cannot be with us right. We aim to stay connected with each of you as much as possible. We are continuing our Distance Learning for Beginners through Pre-K, if you are interested or have questions please call the school.
Do not forget Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 10th!
Please also remember we will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day!
Sincerely,
Tanya Ross
Teacher Appreciation Week
The week of May 4th is national teacher appreciation week. We want to recognize our teachers but we know that times are different right now. Normally, you are able to bring things into the school for them and celebrate them face to face. What we would like to do is provide our teachers with positive, encouraging words of gratitude from our families. They work so hard every day through normal circumstances to educate and love your children. During these times, they are working even harder to create a sense of normalcy and a safe feeling for the children.
We are encouraging you to email, mail or drop off a card/letter for your child’s teachers or a drive-by. You can even record a video of your family thanking the teachers. We will sort them out and give them to the teachers throughout the week. It is a great way to recognize all of them for all that they do.
We will then hold another teacher appreciation week the week of September 14th. That will allow you to celebrate the teachers face to face.
Thank you for your help with this. We know how special our teachers are and this is a chance to share with them your kind words and appreciation.
Drive Through -Pre-K Graduation
We will celebrate the accomplishments of our Pre-K students on May 22nd at 6:00 p.m. We will be handing out their diplomas and goody bags. We know times are different but the children have worked so hard and deserve to be celebrated.
