A Note from Our Principal:
Dear Parents,
Fall is officially here and we have some fantastic activities to get everyone into the season! This month we will have be having a Fall spirit week with a different dress up day each week, on Wednesdays, we will be wearing pink to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, and of course, we will have our fun Halloween celebrations in a safe, social distanced way!
We are looking forward to taking our learning outside and this year we will be creating our own Xplor pumpkin patch on October 23rd! Beginning October 12th, we will begin collecting pumpkins on our front porch. We are asking parents to contribute one mini pumpkin per child, but appreciate any additional pumpkins and in various sizes. These will benefit our pumpkin painting activity and other various hands on learning experiences and activities in all of our classrooms!
Sincerely,
Alice Reed
Weather Reminders:
Despite the unpredictability of fall weather we try to ensure that our students spend time outdoors each day. Please make sure your child has a jacket available and a weather appropriate change of clothes in their cubby at all times. We have many fun outdoor activities scheduled for this month and don’t want any of our students to miss out! Please label your child’s jacket.
