A Note from Our Principal:
Dear Parents,
Thank you so much to all of the parents who attended our Mother’s Day Tea last month. It was wonderful to get to see all of you and recognize all that you do for your children each day. We also want to thank you for helping to make our teachers feel special during Teacher Appreciation Week. There are so many fun activities going on here during the month of June as we officially kick off summer and we can’t wait to share them with your children.
Thank you again for your time and support. We are looking forward to spending an amazing summer with your children!
Sincerely,
Amanda Proctor
Summer Safety:
Many of the special events and activities we have planned for this summer are outdoors. Whether it’s a nature walk or a splash day, sunscreen is needed to ensure that everyone has a good time. If you’ve not already done so, please bring a labeled container of sunscreen for your child’s teacher.
Splash Day:
We will have Splash Day every Thursday for our preschool aged students, and Wednesday’s for our Pre-K students. On these days they will need to bring with them a swimsuit, a shirt that can get wet, water shoes, a towel, swim diaper if applicable, and dry clothes to change into after. Generally Splash Day will be in the morning. To make it easier on the teachers, please bring them in their swim attire. Each year our students look forward to these special days and we can’t wait to share the fun photos with you through Links 2 Home!
School-Age Field Trips and Events:
Links 2 Home is just one of the ways to keep on track with field trip times and requirements. There is also a large calendar posted just inside of the School-Age classroom and a calendar in the lobby as well. We must have a parent’s signature on each permission slip for each field trip in order for your child to attend. All of the summer permission slips are available in the School Age classroom at the parent information table.
