A Message from Our Principal,
Thank you so much for helping make our teachers and management team feel special during Teacher Appreciation Week. We also want to thank all of the parents who attended our Mother’s Day celebration last month. It was wonderful to get to see all of you and recognize all that you do for your children each day. There are so many fun activities going on here during the month of June as we officially kick off summer and we can’t wait to share them with your children.
Thank you again for your time and support. We are looking forward to spending an amazing summer with your children!
Sincerely,
Shereena Johnson
Summer Safety
Many of the special events and activities we have planned for this summer are outdoors. Whether it’s a nature walk or a splash day, sunscreen is needed to ensure that everyone has a good time. If you’ve not already done so, please put a labeled container of sunscreen in your child’s cubby.
Splash Day
We will have Splash Day every other week for our preschool and school aged students. On these days they will need to bring with them a swimsuit, water shoes, a towel, swim diaper if applicable, and dry clothes to change into after. Generally Splash Day will be in the morning. To make it easier on the teachers, please bring them in their swim attire. Each year our students look forward to these special days and we can’t wait to share the fun photos with you through Links 2 Home!
School-Age Field Trips and Events
Links 2 Home is just one of the ways to keep on track with field trip times and requirements. There is also a large calendar posted just inside of the School-Age classroom. We must have a parent’s signature on each permission slip for each field trip in order for your child to attend. All of the summer permission slips will be available in the School Age classroom at the parent information table.
