Happy November! Phew! Fall is definitely here! October came and went really fast and there were so many fun things that we got to do and lots of great food to eat too. Here is just a quick recap of all the fun we had in October…….. Our Pink Power Parade to help raise awareness of Breast Cancer. Trunk or Treat was a blast! We decorated pumpkins for Halloween and celebrated with our Halloween parties. All in all, a huge success! But the holiday season has only started! Now, to kick off November with a bang, don’t forget to move your clocks back 1 hour! We are truly excited about what the next few months have in store and all of the amazing things that your children will be learning.
As move into the fall and holidays, we would like to invite our current families as well as our community and friends to our Thankful Harvest Celebration on Saturday, November 4th from 10am-1pm. Our legendary playgrounds will be open where games and activities will be provided for all ages. We will have refreshments, face painting, an Aqua Kids presentation (the new swim school being built next to us) AND, last but not least, a movie for all to enjoy.
Please note that our preschool classrooms (infants through Pre-K) will be CLOSED on November 10th for Professional Development Day. Our staff will be receiving some amazing training that will continue to boost your teacher’s knowledge to help provide your child with even a higher level of quality learning and care. School age will be open as normal for delivery and pick-up that day.
The Xplor will also be CLOSED on November 23rd for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will be open on Friday and ask that we sign up for that day if you will be here so that we can staff appropriately. We will be giving you guidance on how to utilize Links2Home to communicate your holiday plans to us.
If you have and wish to use a vacation week the week of Thanksgiving, please complete a form available in the office to request your vacation..
Every month your child has an opportunity to do something extraordinary! Did you know that we offer several different extracurricular activities onsite? Please ask us about our:
Dream Dancer’s program
Gymnastics program
Karate
Soccer (Winter session available this year!)
Just some reminders:
Accidents happen, unfortunately, so please be sure your child has seasonally appropriate extra clothing in their cubbies.
Check your calendars each week for our fun activities for preschool and school age programs!
Taking a vacation???? Notify a manager as soon as possible and we will help you understand our vacation policy.
The weather is changing so please don’t forget to bring a jacket for your child. We will go out most days and we want the children to be comfortable with appropriate outer wear.
Don’t forget to sign your child in before you take them to class and out after you pick up your child. Thank you so much for your cooperation!
