A Note from Our Principal,
We had a wonderful month with our students and families in February and can’t wait to see what the next season holds for us. We especially love the spring and summer months because they allow us to spend extra time outside with our students. Our teachers are busy coming up with ways to take their lessons outside as weather permits. Don’t forget that Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 11th!
Our Annual Professional Development Day was a big success. Our key performers received awards to show them appreciation of what they do on a daily basis. The teachers had an opportunity to mingle with their classroom peers from other Xplor’s to gain ideas that can and will help them in their classrooms.
On Your Way—Preschool Summer Camp 2018
We are thrilled to launch “On Your Way”, a continuation of our Links to Learning curriculum that focuses on bringing all the fun and wonder of summer into the classroom in new and exciting ways. This summer long program will introduce students to their communities and prepare them for the school year ahead.
Make Your Mark—School Age Summer Camp 2018
Summer campers at our school have the opportunity to expand their horizons, embark on new adventures, and have fun. Our “Make Your Mark” program is all about inspiring campers to try new things and meaningfully connect with their community and classmates.
Please make sure your property in the parking lot is safe and sound as you are dropping off and picking up your children.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Inghram-Williams M.S.Ed.

Parent Teacher Conference
Our Parent Teacher Conferences are continuing in the month of March. Please watch your classroom for sign- up sheet with dates and time.
Parent Referral
Do you know any parents who have recently moved to the area, are expecting a baby or are unhappy with their current preschool? We value our current parents and would love more families like yours at our school! Refer a new family to our school and your family could receive a free week of tuition.
Change of Clothes
We are having unpredictable weather soon. Please remember to check that your child’s extra cubby clothes are appropriate for cooler days.
Your junk is our treasure
We will be collecting items to enrich our classrooms during the month of June and we would sincerely appreciate your help. We are in need of empty cereal boxes, juice bottles, magazines, egg cartons, and other similar items for our Home Centers. The children can be even more creative during dramatic play when they have these types of items to use.
School Age Parents
School Age parents: Please let us know by 2 pm if your child will not need Xplor transportation after school. Our buses are not allowed to leave a school without confirmation of your child’s whereabouts. If we are not informed in advance, this delay causes the children at the next school from being picked up on time.

Please make sure to take home all naptime gear at the end of your week. Please make your child has a complete change of clothing in the cubbies.
