A Note From Our Principal
We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms spent the week leading up to Earth Day learning about insects, plants, ecology and making art from recycled materials. For Earth Day students made ladybug hats and released 9,000 ladybugs into our community from the playground. This month we are busy supporting our school age students as they prepare to wrap up the academic school year. As part of our school age curriculum, our students are working together to get their classroom ready for summer camp. Planning for activities as a team helps school age children develop independence and leadership skills. Feel free to stop by our school age room and say hello!
Sincerely,
Sara Pruett
Mother’s Day Celebrations
Our Mother’s Day breakfast will take place on Friday, May 11th from 7:00-8:00 a.m. We will have coffee, juice, muffins and fruit. Our school age students have set up a fun photo booth on the stage where you can take a photo with your child to commemorate this special day. All mothers, grandmothers and special parent figures are welcome! Pre-K 1 and 2 will host a Moms Spa from 5:00-6:00pm. They will paint their mom’s nails and give an arm/foot massage while they relax with a refreshing drink and cucumber slices on their eyes. Please sign up at the front desk.
Warm Weather Reminders
Please send a labeled water bottle and sunscreen to school with your child if you’ve not already done so. Thank you!
