Xplor of Corinth June 2018 Newsletter
A Note from Our Principal,
Thank you for the love and appreciation you all showed our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week last month. We value your involvement! Last month we enjoyed being outdoors together, celebrating Mother’s Day, and getting our classrooms ready for summer. Our Summer Camp programs officially kick-off on June 4, 2018 and we’ll be sending lots of updates on our daily activities through Links 2 Home. We can’t wait to spend summer with you and your family.

Come Help Kids Helping Kids in Support of Alex’s Lemonade Stand for Childhood Cancer
Alex’s Lemonade Stand represents a child named Alex who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer shortly before her 1st birthday.
Before she passed away at age 8, she sought out to raise money through her lemonade stand to find a cure for cancer. Please help us to continue to raise money to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Summer Safety Guidelines
Hot weather is upon us! Please take note of the following tips to help us keep your child safe in the heat:
- Send your child to school in weather-appropriate clothing. Lightweight, breathable fabrics are best.
- Check your child’s cubby to be sure that extra clothes are also weather appropriate.
- Close-toe shoes, rather than sandals or flip-flops should be worn for the safety of the child’s feet.

Do you know any parents who have recently moved to the area, are expecting a baby or are unhappy with their current preschool? We value our current parents and would love more families like yours at our school! Refer a new family to our school and your family could receive a free week of tuition.
All parents please remember to bring in sunscreen for your child, labeled with their first and last names. Leave it with your child’s teacher and they will keep it in an upper cabinet out of reach of the children. Also, please be sure to sign the sunscreen and water play form for Splash Day for Preschool.
Please make sure to take home all naptime gear at the end of your week. Please make your child has a complete change of clothing in the cubbies.
