A Note from Our Principal,
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fundraiser was a success and we made our goal. Thank you and Huffines Chevrolet for your participation and support. This was a great learning experience and the character traits that were brought out of the children during this time were priceless.
The summer is coming to a close. The children have had fun filled activities on and off site. Though we are still enjoying our summer camp activities, we are also working diligently to get our students ready for the new school year. Many of our students will be transitioning classrooms this month, and those transitions begin on the week of August 13th -17th. The first day of their new classroom will be Monday, August 20th. Transition letters and packets will be given out to those families of children that are moving up to a new classroom. Please watch for the classroom roster that will be posted on the observation window of the classrooms by Friday, August 10th. Our teachers will be present on Thursday morning, August, 16th and Friday, evening, August 17th to show you around your child’s new classroom and answer any questions you may have about your child’s learning.
Please note:
- We are closed on Monday, September 3rd for Labor Day.
- Tax Free weekend begins August 10th-12th
- The 1st Day of school for local area elementary schools will be August 15, 2018 for Denton School District & August 16, 2018 and Lake Dallas School District.
