A Note from Our Principal
We hope your children enjoyed their fall lessons, pumpkin themed activities and classroom celebrations last month. Seeing our students enjoy their Halloween costumes and fall spirit days is one of the highlights of the year for us and we appreciate you taking the time to help them participate in those. We want to also thank you for making this year EXTRA special with the students Halloween bags. We would not have been able to make these if it wasn’t for your kind donations and we truly appreciate the abundance of participation we received! This month we are focusing on gratitude and connecting with others. Though we cannot hold our normal Thanksgiving community meal this year we have many special activities planned for our students and are looking forward to sharing photos with you all on Links 2 Home. As always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Sara Pruett
Illness Policy Reminder
Our parents are vital partners in helping us to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students in our school. The most important thing you can do to assist us in creating a healthy environment is to keep your child home if they are ill. This reduces the spread of illness and allows your child to fully recuperate. For more information please see our Parent Handbook or reach out to a member of our administrative team.
Friendsgiving Celebrations
Each of our classrooms will be celebrating Friendsgiving with a special craft and turkey lunch on November 24th. Students will be making their own placemats and other Thanksgiving themed artwork to bring home to share with family members. We would love to have the students have a few added goodies to the meal. Sign ups will be sent out soon.
