This activity required focus, coordination, and hand strength as the children worked to connect and separate the dinosaurs. These small movements are an important part of fine motor development and help build the muscles needed for everyday tasks such as holding a pencil, using scissors, buttoning clothes, and zipping jackets.
Beyond physical development, the children also practiced patience, persistence, and problem-solving as they figured out how to snap the pieces together. The dinosaur theme added excitement and motivation, keeping the children engaged and eager to participate.
We love seeing learning come to life through play and watching our three-year-olds grow stronger, more confident, and more capable every day!
