As the infants gazed, smiled, and reached toward their reflections, they began exploring an early sense of self. Mirror play supports social and emotional development, helping infants learn that the face they see belongs to them. It also encourages curiosity, visual tracking, facial recognition, and early communication skills.

This activity allowed our teachers to engage one-on-one with each infant, responding to their expressions and building strong, nurturing connections. Whether the infants were smiling, babbling, or simply observing, each moment supported their growth in a gentle and meaningful way.
