School Age Summer Camp Update: A Trip to LEGOLAND! 🧱🎉

Home / School News / School Age Summer Camp Update: A Trip to LEGOLAND! 🧱🎉

Throughout the visit, campers had the opportunity to explore incredible LEGO creations, participate in hands-on building experiences, and discover how imagination and engineering come together to create amazing structures. They also enjoyed interactive attractions and exhibits that encouraged problem-solving and creative thinking.

This field trip offered many valuable learning experiences, including:

  • STEM Exploration: Children learned about the basics of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by observing how LEGO bricks can be used to design strong structures and solve engineering challenges.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Campers were encouraged to think outside the box as they explored different building techniques and imaginative designs.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Interactive exhibits challenged children to test ideas, make improvements, and discover multiple solutions to a problem.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Many activities encouraged campers to collaborate, share ideas, and work together toward a common goal.
  • Perseverance and Resilience: Building projects taught children that making mistakes is part of the learning process and that trying again often leads to even better results.

Beyond the educational opportunities, our campers created wonderful memories with their friends while practicing responsibility, following safety expectations, and representing our school with kindness and respect throughout the day.

We are so proud of our School Age campers for their positive attitudes and excellent behavior during this exciting adventure. We look forward to many more enriching experiences throughout the rest of our Summer Camp!

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s summer adventures!
