🌼 What We’re Learning:
Children will practice sorting flowers by color and size, arranging bouquets, counting stems, “selling” flowers to friends, and using their imaginations during flower shop role play activities.

✂️ Fine Motor Development:
Our flower shop activities will help strengthen small hand muscles and coordination through:
• Cutting and arranging flowers
• Using tongs and tweezers
• Wrapping bouquets
• Gluing, painting, and crafting flower creations
• Practicing writing and drawing skills

🏃 Gross Motor Skills:
Children will stay active with movement activities such as:
• Pretend flower deliveries
• Gardening games
• Watering station activities
• Outdoor flower hunts and movement exercises

😊 Social & Emotional Skills:
Working together in the flower shop encourages children to:
• Practice sharing and taking turns
• Use kind communication
• Build friendships through cooperative play
• Express creativity and confidence
• Learn problem-solving skills during pretend play situations

🗣️ Language & Cognitive Development:
As children engage in flower shop play, they will expand their vocabulary and strengthen early learning skills by:
• Learning flower and gardening vocabulary
• Practicing counting and sorting
• Identifying colors and patterns
• Asking and answering questions
• Exploring early math and literacy concepts

🌺 Fun Milestones We’ll Encourage:
• Independence during classroom jobs
