Illness Policy
Our parents are vital partners in helping us to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students in our school. The most important thing you can do to assist us in creating a healthy environment is to keep your child home if they are ill. This reduces the spread of illness and allows your child to fully recuperate. Children may not attend school until they have been symptom free for 24 hours if they display any of the following:
- Fever of 100 degrees of more—must be fever free for 24 hours with no fever-reducing medicine before returning to school
- Lethargy
- Abnormal Breathing
- Uncontrolled Diarrhea
- Two or more vomiting episodes
- Rash with a fever
- Mouth sores with drooling
- Behavior Changes
- Communicable Diseases
- Fussy, cranky behavior unlike child’s normal demeanor that may indicate illness
Once you have been notified that your child is ill you have one hour to reach the center and take your child home. Failure to comply with this policy may result in your child being excluded from future care. For more information please see our Parent Handbook or reach out to a member of our administrative team.
Links 2 Learning Monthly Folders
Each month our teachers prepare folders that outline what your child has learned in the prior month. These folders have work samples in them and explain the skills that your child is working to master. We send these home at the end of each month and ask that they be returned a few days later. Please let us know if you have any questions about the monthly folders or about your child’s progress!
Parent Referrals
Do you have friends who are moving to the area, having a child or are unhappy with their child’s current preschool? We are always happy to meet other parents like you and offer a $100 tuition credit for part time referrals or a full free week for full time referrals. Please see the front office for details.
