A Note from Our Principal,
“We must find the time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” – JFK
As October gives way to November and our lives get a little busier and a little more hectic it is important to remember why we do what we do, and for whom. Here at Xplor of Castle Hills, in Lewisville, we are looking forward to the holidays and are hard at work planning some exciting things for our wonderful families. We want to thank you for your participation in all of our wonderful events throughout the month of October. We loved getting to spend the extra time with you and seeing everyone in their costumes is always memorable for our staff. We are looking forward to the upcoming holiday season and can’t wait to make some new memories with you. Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns, or need additional care/schedule changes during this busy time of year. We are grateful for you all. Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Tiffany Richards
Fall Festival and Open House – Saturday, November 10th
Our annual fall fest and open house will be held Saturday, November 10th from 10am-1pm. Do you know anyone who is currently looking for a preschool, is new to the area, adding to the family, or is unhappy with where they are currently enrolled at? Invite them to our event! This is the perfect time for them to see our school, meet our staff and current families and enjoy fun and games, community helpers and a chili cook-off! If they enroll at our school you will receive a free week of tuition for your oldest child!
Operation Kindness
All month long we will be gathering donations for our furry friends at Operation Kindness. Each class will have a decorated box that you can place these donations into. Donations begin November 5-November 16th.
During the week of Thanksgiving the school age children will personally deliver the donations to Operation Kindness. This is the season of giving so let’s give with open hearts.
Teacher Development Day
On November 12th our preschool will be closed for Professional Development Day. Our teachers will be hard at work learning new skills to better teach and care for your children. Our school age program and busses will run and operate as usual. Please remember to mark this day on your calendar!
Stone Soup
Please join us on November 15th, from 6:30-8pm for our annual Stone Soup. The story of stone soup teaches us to be thankful for what we have and to always be generous to others. There is no better time than the Thanksgiving season to celebrate the wonderful traits of thankfulness and generosity. Join us as our principal reads the story and then we enjoy our very own “Stone Soup” for dinner.
We Are Thankful For our Families!
We are so thankful that you are a part of our Xplor family that we want to see more of you! We are hosting two events this November and we would love for you and your family to join us. The first event will be held Sunday, November 18th from 3-5pm. We will be joining our neighbors at Xplor in Carrollton for a family swim night at the Goldfish swim school in Carrollton. Swimming in November? Sign us up!
