We hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with loved ones! As the winter holidays approach we have many special events planned for our students and families, and look forward to spending time with you all. We’ve also enclosed important winter and holiday procedure reminders in this newsletter. Please read through it carefull and reach out if you have any questions our concerns. Happy Holidays!

Holiday Closures- 12/25/2018 & 1/1/2019
School Age Winter GAP Camp
During Winter Break we have tons of fun activities planned for our School Agers! We will be sending out our Winter Break calendar for School Age parents along with information for signing up for the dates you will be in attendance. During Winter Break Camp we will be doing field trips, holiday themed projects, STEAM activities and much more! Please remember, that if your child does not attend during Winter Break you are still responsible for your normal weekly tuition. If you have earned a vacation credit that you would like to use, please email Tanna at Tanna.Kee@xplorpreschool.com
Vacation Credit
Please be reminded that our current vacation policy allows for one free week of tuition per fiscal year (July 2018-June 2019). Families become eligible for this vacation credit have 6 months of continuous enrollment.
Classroom Holiday Celebrations- Friday, December 21st
We will be having Winter Holiday Parties for all age groups on the 21st starting at 3:30pm. Your teacher will be posting party sign up sheets on classroom doors and parents are encouraged to join!
Operation Blue Santa Toy Drive- December 3-7th
Please bring unwrapped toys to our toy drive next week! These will be distributed to local residents in need for the upcoming Holidays. Below are the toy donation guidelines:
- Toys must be new, not used.
- Toys may not contain liquid or powder such as glitter.
- No toy weapons.
- No food.
- No glass.
Lil’ Shoppers Shop School Fundraiser- Dec 3rd-21st
This is one of our most popular fundraiser for each school year because it allows students to shop for loved ones! All you have to do is bring an allotted amount to the front desk and we will take your child shopping in our gift shop. We will have tons of items available from coffee mugs to key chains. You can designate who your child will pick gifts for and how much to spend. You are also able to take your child shopping in the gift shop yourself, if you prefer! More information on this will come soon in email!
Inclement Weather Reminders
We do not always follow the closure schedule of the local public schools because we don’t have to contend with the same public transportation issues as our public schools. Our goal is to be open as many days as possible to support our working parents. If we must close because our teachers cannot safely get to work, you will receive a notification via Links 2 Home as soon as the closure is announced.
