A Note From Our Principal,

Happy New Year! We can’t wait to spend 2020 with you and your children.  I continue to be honored that your children are in my care.  Thank you to all who participated in our holiday giving initiative last month.  City House was in great appreciation of all the needed items collected. Your generosity is truly appreciated! We also enjoyed having our school-age students with us for winter break camp. Thank you to all who were able to join us!

Links 2 Home 

If you’re not currently receiving photos and daily reports for your child you can easily change this by downloading the Links 2 Home app on your phone. Just type ‘Links 2 Home’ in the search bar for the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After downloading Links 2 Home you can register with the same email address that you used to enroll your child in our school.

Online Parent Communication

In addition to our newsletter the ‘For Parents’ section of our website also includes links to our menu, monthly calendar and school year calendar. We update these items frequently to ensure you’re always in the know. Though we send information through Links 2 Home, our calendar can be printed or even downloaded directly to your device. Our menu and school year calendar can be printed or saved for easy reference as well.

Do you have a different email address or phone number? Need to add or remove an emergency contact? You can do this at any time in Alma. If you need help logging in or accessing the system please let us know.

Family dance party and SPARK demo 

As an extension of our SPARK physical education curriculum we are holding a family dance party on January 17^th from 4:30-5:30 pm. Your child will have an opportunity to demonstrate some of the physical skills they’ve learned this year and everyone will get to spend time being active together. We hope you can make it!

Make and take snack bar

Our School-Age students are learning about healthy eating habits and are setting up a healthy snack buffet in the lobby on January 30^th for all of our families to enjoy. Younger students will have an opportunity to visit the snack bar at pick up and create their own trail mix and try new fruits and vegetables. Please stop by on your way out!

Martin Luther King Jr. School Holiday 

Public schools are closed on 1/20 but we are open and have a full day of fun and learning planned for our before and after care students. If your child would like to attend please sign up at the front desk no later than 1/15.
